2 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
3 EDISON COMPANY, A CORPORATION, OVER CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED
SOUTH OF THE BLOOD BANK ROAD AND EAST OF "E" STREET.

5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION ONE: That the City of San Bernardino execute a

Grant of Easement to Southern California Edison Company, a
Corporation, for transmission of electrical energy and appurtenant
9
10 faci I ities.
SECTION TWO: That the said Grant of Easement referred to
11
12 herein,
13 and is

a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A",
hereby referred to and made a part hereof as fully as
set out at length herein, is hereby approved.
SECTION THREE: That the Mayor of the City of San Bernar-

dino is hereby authorized and di~ected to execute said Grant of

Easement on behalf of the City of San Bernardino.

COl\IPANY, a corporation, its successors and assigns, (hereinafter referred to as "Grantee"), an easement
and right of way to construct, use, maintain, operate, alter, add to, repair, replace, reconstruct, inspect and
remove at any time and frorri time to time overhead and underground electrical supply systems and com-
munication systems (hereinafter referred to as "systems"), consisting of poles, guys and anchors, crossarms,
wires, underground conduits, cables, vaults, manholes, handholes, and including above-ground enclosures,
markers and concrete pads and other appurtenant fixtures and/or equipment necessary or useful for
distributing- electrical energy and for transmitting intelligence by electrical means, in, on, over, under,

fill or other structures except walls and fences on above described easemen t area.
The Grantee, and its contractors, agents and employees, shall have the right to trim or top such trees
and to cut such roots as may endanger or interfere with said systems and shall have free access to said
systems and every part thereof, at all times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted;
provided, however. that in making any excavation on said property of the Grantor(s). the Grantee shall
make the same in such a .manner as will cause the least injury to the surface of the ground around such
excavation. and shall replace the earth so removed by it and restore the surface of the ground to as near the
same condition as it was prior to such excavation as is practicable.

PARCEL NO.1: All that portion of Lots 23 and 14 in Block 54 of Rancho San Bernardino,
as per plat recorded in Book 7 of l~ps, at page 2, records of San Bernardino County,
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the east line of said Lot 23, which is ~~o hundred feet (200')
south of the northeast corner of said Lot 23; thence south along the east line of said
Lots 23 and 14, to a point which is three hundred sixty feet (360') north of the south-
east corner of said Lot 14; thence southwesterly in a straight line to a point on the
south line of said Lot 14, which is seven hundred eighty feet (780') west of the south-
