HomeMy WebLinkAbout13088 RESOLUTION NO. /d~ 1 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE INLAND MANPOWER ASSOCIATION RELATING TO THE SUMMER PROGRAM 2 FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED YOUTH FOR PORTIONS OF THE 1976-77 AND 1977-78 FISCAL YEARS, WHICH SAID AGREEMENT SUCCEEDS TO AND REPLACES PRIOR AGREEMENT 3 BY RESOLUTION NO. 12878. 4 WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council, by Resolution No. 12878, 5 authorized the execution of an agreement, dated July 15, 1977, with the 6 Inland Manpower Association relating to the Summer Program for Economically 7 Disadvantaged Youth for a portions of the 1976-77 and 1977-78 fiscal years; 8 and 9 WHEREAS, it is desired that said agreement with the Inland Manpower 10 Association be modified and replaced by the agreement attached hereto, marked 11 Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference in order to provide for a 12 modification of the Summer Program for Economically Disadvantaged Youth as 13 set forth in said Exhibit "A"; and 14 WHEREAS, it is the intention of the parties hereto said Exhibit "A" 15 attached hereto be complementary and succeed to the provisions of the prior 16 agreement with the Inland Manpower Association relating to the Summer Program 17 for Economically Disadvantaged Youth, 18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE 19 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 20 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is authorized and 21 directed to execute on behalf of said City that agreement with the Inland 22 Manpower Association relating to the Summer Program for Economically 23 Disadvantaged Youth for the extension of the subgrant period from April 1, 24 1977 through December 31, 1977, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked 25 Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth 26 at length.
