-IN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ADDING SECTION
2.80.010 TO THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE
SALARY OF THE. MAYOR
THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.80.010 is hereby added to the San
Bernardino Municipal Code to read as follows:
"Section 2.80.010. Salary of Mayor.
( a) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 24 of the Charter
of The City of San Bernardino, the salary of the Mayor is hereby
established to be equal to the Chief of Police who is supervised
by the Mayor in an annual amount of $99,192.00."
(b) The change in salary provided by this Section shall
apply only at the conclusion of the current term of the present
incumbent or when the current incumbent leaves office, whichever
occurs first.
(c) This Section 2.80.010 shall not be effective until
approved by a majority of the electors voting on the issue.
