Synopsis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action:
June, 1990 Allocation of $15,000, in 1990/91 CDBG Program,
approved.
June, 1994 - Original allocation of $15,000 rescinded, and new
allocation of $45,000, in 1994/95 Program approved.
Recommended Motion:
That the plans for remodeling the Meadowbrook Boxing Facility, in
accordance with Plan No. 9041, be approved; and the Director of
Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to advertise for bids.

Approval of Plans and
Authorization to Advertise for Bids
Remodeling of Meadowbrook Boxing Facility
Plans for remodeling the Meadowbrook Boxing Facility have been
prepared by an Architect, and the project is ready to be
advertised for bids. The project consists, in general, of
remodeling the restroom/shower area and bringing it into
compliance with current codes.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:

TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST
An amount of $15,000 was allocated in the 1990/91 CDBG Program.
This amount was rescinded and replaced ,vi th an allocation of
$45,000, under Account No. 100-8067202, in the 1994/95 Program to
finance the costs that will be incurred for this project.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted
to advertise for bids.
