Recommended Motion:
That the plans for construction of curbs, gutters and sidewalks,
at various locations, in accordance with Plan No. 9151, be
approved; and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be
authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Approval of Plans and
Authorization to Advertise for Bids for
Construction of Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk
at Various Locations
Special provisions have been prepared by City Staff for
construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and various other
concrete facilities. The project consists, in general, of
installing curbs, gutters and sidewalks at various locations
throughout the City. Demolition of the existing damaged
improvements will be done by staff at the Department of Public
Services.
An amount of $265,721 was allocated in the 1994/95 Community
Development Block Grant Program, under Account No. 100-80683, to
finance the construction cost for constructing curbs, gutters,
sidewalks and other concrete facilities, at various locations as
deemed necessary by the Department of Public Services. Supple-
mental funds may be provided from the Department of Public
Services as required to finance the total estimated contract cost
of $325,000.
