and take possible action concerning the job action by the
San Bernardino Police Officers' Association.
2. Adjournment.
MOTION:
That the meeting be adjourned.
NOTE: The next regular meeting is scheduled for 8:00 a.m.,
Monday, August 15, 1994, in the Council Chambers of City Hall,
300 North "D" Street, San Bernardino, California.

SUBJECT: Notification of Emergency Meeting of the Mayor and Common
Council

At the request of Mayor Tom Minor, the undersigned, as City Clerk
of the City of San Bernardino, issued notification, by telephone,
of an Emergency Meeting of the Mayor and Common Council to take
place at 3 p.m. on this date, Wednesday, August 10, 1994. Pursuant
to Government Code Section 54956.5, following is a list of persons
who were notified or were attempted to be notified of the Emergency
Meeting:
1. Mayor Tom Minor
2. Councilmember Eddie Negrete
3. Councilmember F. J. Curlin, M.D.
4. Councilmember Ralph Hernandez
5. Councilmember David Oberhelman
6. Councilmember Jerry Devlin
7. Councilmember Valerie Pope-Ludlam
8. Councilmember Norine Miller
9. City Attorney James Penman
10. City Administrator Shauna Clark
11. The Sun - Richard Brooks
12. Precinct Reporter - Don Townsend
13. EI Chicano - Bill Harrison
14. Inland Empire Hispanic News - Eddie Martinez
15. Channel 3 - Frank Keller
All calls to the above-referenced individuals were placed between
10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. this morning. Courtesy calls were also
placed to all local radio stations.

DECLARATION
I, Shauna Clark, do declare as follows:
1. I am the Ci ty Administrator for the Ci ty of San
Bernardino.
2. On August 10, 1994, Mayor Tom Minor called an emergency
meeting of the Mayor, and Common Council to discuss an illegal job
action by the San Bernardino Police Officers Association.
3. I talked to Councilmember Fred Curlin on the telephone
to advise him of the meeting.
4. He said he was in the high Sierras and could not return.
5. He orally waived notice of the meeting and stated that
he would confirm that waiver when he returned.
I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is
true and correct.
