Home My WebLink About12947 RESOLUTION NO. . k1 <7 .tJ;~ / RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF TERRACE ROAD LYING NORTH OF A POINT APPROXIMATELY 610 FEET NORTH OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AND RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS THEREIN. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMKlN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and CoDDllOn Council of the City of San Bernardino, having heard the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation of that portion of Terrace Road lying North of a point approximately 610 feet North of Foothill Boulevard, more particularly described in City Resolution of Intention No. 12807, hereby find from all of the evidence submitted that such portion of said described Terrace Road proposed to be vacated by said resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes. SECTION 2. The Mayor and CODDllOn Council of said City do hereby order the vacation of that portion of Terrace Road lying North of a point approximately 610 feet North of Foothill Boulevard, San Bernardino, California, more particularly described as follows: That portion of the West side of "F" Street lying within Lot 22, Block 54 of the Rancho San Bernardino, as per plat thereof recorded in Book 7 of Maps, page 2, records of the County Recorder County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of said Lot 22, which point is North 00 37' 33" West, a distance of 325.27 feet from the Southeast corner of said lot; thence North 180 30' West, a distance of 80.95 feet along the Westerly line of that certain property as con- veyed to the State of California, Department of Public Works by Final Order of Condemnation recorded March 29, 1956, as Document No. 360 in Book 3896, page 566 Official Records of said County, to the begin1l.ing of a tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 77 feet; thence Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 590 30' 00", a distance of 79.96 feet; thence North 410 East, a distance of 6.19 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve, concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 1970 feet; a radial line of said curve at said point bears South 780 02' 43" West; thence Southerly along said curve through 2 3 4 7 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 \- 1 o a eentral angle of 0 46' 02", a distance of 26.38 feet to its intsrsection with the East line of said Lot 22; thence South 0 37' 33" East, along said East line, a distance of 130.55 feet to the point of beginning. And as also described in said Resolution No. 12807. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall reserve, and nothing herein shall 5 in any way affect or disturb, each and every existing easellll!llt for sanitary 6 sewer and appurtenant facilities and for public utility purposes belonging either to the City of San Bernardino or to any public utility and there is 8 further reserved for present and future general public utility purposes and 9 for this City an easement reasonably necessary to locate sanitary sewer, public utility and appurtenant facilities over, in, under or across all of the real property described hereinbefore along with the right to use, install, DlSintain, repair, replace or renew such facilities and those reserved by Resolution of Intention No. 12807. SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Bernardino.
