The military banners will be on display continuously at various locations throughout the City.
The military banners will be installed by the City and removed when the banners are damaged or
if the service person is no longer in the military. The City will not be responsible for replacing
banners that are stolen, damaged or destroyed due to sun, weather, age, vandalism or any act of
nature beyond the City's control such as high winds. Timing of the banner installation and

Process
Applications will be accepted on an on-going-basis. Banners will be raised in the order that the
application was received, as long as there are sufficient funds in the donation account to do so. If
a banner application was received prior to the installation date and there are not sufficient funds
to produce and raise the banner, that application will be processed for the next installation date,
provided that funding is available.
Based on funding availability, priority will be given to service persons who are current residents
of the City of San Bernardino. Applications that are accompanied by the banner fee will be
produced and raised at the next installation date.
The San Bernardino Military Banner Application can be downloaded from the City's website at
www.sbcitv.org.
