approved in 1986/87 Budget.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for construction of Phase IB of
Seccombe Lake Park, in accordance with Plan No.
7444 be approved; and the Director of Public Works/
City Engineer authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
The plans for construction of Phase I-B of Seccombe Lake
State Urban Recreation Area have been prepared by the consultant,
and the project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project
consists of completing construction of the park up to Seventh
Street.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:

The contract documents include six additive alternates,
at an estimated cost of $216,800. As many alternates as can be
financed with available funds will be included in the contract
award.
The amounts listed above for sewer plant capacity fees and
fire hydrant relocation are our estimates, and will be precised by
the Water Department prior to award of a contract.
Under terms of the Development Agreement with the State, a
total amount of $2,330,408 has been made available. Of this amount,
$2,083,608 is designated for construction and $246,800 for design
and inspection.
Conditional Use Permit No. 88-10 was approved by the
Planning Commission on 4-19-88. This approval included the
negative declaration.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
