A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF SAN BEfLARDINO DETERMINING THE COST OF ABATINC: CERTAIN PUB-
LIC NUISANCES A}IT) CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT MADE TO COVER SAID

SECTION ONE: That under and pursuant to the provisions

of Ordinance No. 1590 of the City of San Bernardino, the Mayor
and Cornmon Council of said city have by Resolution heretofore
declared the existence of certain public nuisances, adopted maps
delineating said public nuisances, and ordered the abatement of
said nuisances, and that after due and regular steps have been
taken, said nuisances have been abated.
SECTION TWO: That the City Street Superintendent, after
the completion of said work, has duly and re~ularly made an as-
sessment to cover the cost of abating said nuisances, and did
duly and regularly file said asseSsment with the City Clerk,
who then caused notice of that fact to be posted for at least
three days on or near the chamber door of the City Council, said
notice stating the time when said assessment was to be submitted
to the Council for confirmation and modification and when all
persons having any objections thereto mig~ht apoear and present
the same.
SECTION THREE: That on the 30th day of June, 1944, at
25 4:30 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of
26 the City of San Bernardino, a public hearing was held, and no
27 objections having been made in writing or oresented to the
28 Council in open session, and the assessment appearing to said
29 Council to be regular, am that the work has been performed in
30 substantial comoliance wi th the orovisions of the law and the
31 acts and determ1.na tions of the Superintendent of Streets, that
32 all noti ces and proceedings were duly and regularly te.ken, and

the various amounts mentioned in said assessmc,nts are accur-

ately computed and determined, and said assessment Is hereby
confirmed and the various amounts mentioned In said assessrnents
shall constitute special assessments against the resnectJve

parcels of land, and thus made and confirmed shall constitute

liens upon said property fo r the amount of such assessments

resnectively.

SECTION YOUR: Reference is hereby specifically made to
9
said J'ssessment and to Resolutlons Nos. 836 and 849 for specifi c
descriptions of said tironerty, for ~le amount of said assessment,
ane for any and all other details in connection therewith.
SECTION FIVE: That the City Clerk of the City of San Ber-
nardino is hereby ordered to attach a certified copy of this
Resolution to se.~Ji ftssessment and have the sal"e delivered to the
County Tax Assessor and the Tax Collector of the County of San
Bernardi no, in accordance wi th the provisions of said Ordinance
No. 1590 of the City of SflYJ Bernardino.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoingResolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Coune 11 of the City of San Ber-
