A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL AUTHORIZIN
THE EXECUTION OF A PERMIT BY THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA PERTAIN
!NG TO THE USE OF CERTAIN STREEl'S.
WHEREAS, the United States of Amerioa is now at war~d
it is neoessary and advantageous for them to quarter troops at
various plaoes for the purpose of oonduoting field exeroises and
other aotivities important to the defense of the Nation;and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the United States Govern-
ment, its troops and the troops of the National Guard, of engag-
ing in training and field exeroises, to enter, maneuver upon,
pass over, bivouvao and oamp upon oertain streets of the City of
San Bernardino, as herein designated; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Administration to
oooperate in every way in the defense of this oountry.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLv.ED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, AS FOu.oWS:
SECTION ONE: That the City of San Bernardino enter
into and exeoute an agreement~with the United States Government
permitting them to enter, maneuver upon, pass over, bivouvao and
oamp upon the publio streets and alleys situate within the fol-
lowing desoribed real property looated in the City of San Ber-
nardino, State of California, and desoribed as follows:
All that oertain real property in the City of
San Bernardino, State of California, looated
within the exterior boundaries of Traot 1834
as per map reoorded in Book 20, Page 43, reoords
of said County, and~n partioular, all of
Musoupiabe Drive, LeRoy Street, 49th, 50th, 51st,
52nd and 53rd Streets, lying within said exterior
boundaries.
I SERXSYXERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
duly adopted by the Mayor and Common Counoil of the City of San
Bernardino, at a regular meeting thereof held on the J 4.:t!! day
