A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO PERTAINING TO THE INITIATION OF SUSPENSION OR
OTHER DISCIPLINARY ACTION BY DEPARTMENT HEADS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION ONE: The initiation of suspension or other
disciplinary action against an employee in the classified service
of said City under Civil Service Rules & Regulations, Rule 512.2
and Section 255 of the Charter is hereby delegated to, and shall
be performed by, the Head of the Department in which said employee
is performing his duties or under whose supervision he is working,
or by the Mayor, provided that notice thereof shall first be
given to the Mayor and the Administrative Officer.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Ber-
