THE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY.
The MaYQr and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino do ordain as follows:
Section 1. ~he amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate
limits of the City of San Bernardino, as a revenue to carry
on the various departments of such municipal corporation for
the current fiscal year not to exceed the limit fixed by law,
and to pay the bo~ded indebtedness or other indebtedness of

9uch municipal corporation or city is hereby determined and
fixed as follows, to-Wlt:
(a) The amount of money necessary to be raised for the
general fu~]d is hereby fixed. at $8,200.00.
(b) The amount of ~oney necessary to be raised for the
street fund is hereby fixed at $45,000.00.
(c) The amount of money necessary to be raised for the
library fund is hereoy fixed at $6,000.00
(d) The amount of money necessary to be raised for the

is an ordinance for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health and s~fety, and that this is an emergency meas-
ure, it being an ordinance provided by and adopt~ pursuant
to Section 130 of the City Charter and by an act of the Legis-
lature of the State of California, approved :lIarch 27th, 1895,
and referred to in said section by its title, by the provisions
of which act this ordinance must take effect before the third
Monday in September, 1912, in orQer to levy any valid tax for
municipal pur,oses and without whicll ordinance and tax there
will be sufficient revenues or funds on hand to defray the
expenses of the heAlth department or any other department of
the city.
Section 111. ThlS ordin~nce shall be pubished for three
consecutive days in The Evening Index and shall take effect
irnmedlatelY thereafter and the City Clerk shall certify to
its passage by a two-thirds(2/3) vote of the Common Council.
I hereby certify that the whole number of members of the
