ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REZONING A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF LAND, AMENDING THE LAND USE ZONING MAP, WHICH IS
INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE IN SECTION 19.06.020 OF THE SAN
BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE (PETITION NO. 86-21, GENERALLY LOCATED
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 48TH STREET APPROXIMATELY 230 FEET WEST OF
THE CENTERLINE OF LEROY STREET), AND ADOPTING THE NEGATIVE
DECLARATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. pursuant to Chapter 19.06 of the San Bernardino
9 Municipal Code, the following described parcel of real property,
10 generally located on the south side of 48th street approximately
11 230 feet west of the centerline of Leroy Street, is rezoned from
12 C-l, Neighborhood Commercial District to R-1-7200, Single-
13 Family Residential District:
14 All that real property situated in the City of San
Bernardino, County of San Bernardino, State of
15 California, described as follows:
16 That portion of Lot 7, Block 16, Tract No. 1834, San
Bernardino Heights, in the City of San Bernardino,
17 County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per
Map recorded in Book 26, Page 52 of Maps, records of
18 said County, further described as follows:
19 Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 7~ thence
south along the eastern boundary of Lot 7 to the
20 southeast corner of said lot~ thence west along the
southern boundary of said lot a distance of 10.98 feet~
21 thence north 00 02' 5Sw west to the northern
boundary of said lot~ thence east along the northern
22 boundary to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. The zoning map, which is incorporated by
25 reference in Section 19.06.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
26 Code, is amended to reflect the change of zone set forth in this

I Director Schuma stated that an application had been re-
ceived from Gilbert ROdriguez, requesting a change of zone
of approximately .15 acre located on the south side of
4~th Street, approximately 2JO feet west of the centerline
of Leroy street, from C-l, Neighborhood Commercial, to
R-1-72UU, Single-Family Residential. (57)

Planning Director Schurna answered questions concern-
ing the location of the change of zone in relation to the
restaurant Le Rendevous, and assured the Council that the
change would not affect the restaurant.
Council Member Marks made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Hernandez and unanimously carried, that the
responses to comments and adoption of the Negative Dec-
laration for environmental impact, which has been reviewed
and considered, be approved: that the findings and recom-
menda tion of tile Planning Commission to approveC .hange of 1
Zone 86-21, be approved: and that the City Attorney be
directed to prepare the necessary amendments to the zoning
ordinance.
