Synopsis of Previous Council action:
June 1988
Allocation of $245,000 to finance costs incurred
for installation of fire sprinklers in City Hall
approved.
Recommended motion:
lhat the Plans for installation of an automatic fire sprinkler
system in City Hall, in accordance with Plan No. 7585 be approved;
and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be authorized to
advertise for bids.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Plans and Specifications for the installation of an automatic
sprinkler system in City Hall have been prepared by the
Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be advertised
for bids. The project consists, in general, of installing an
automatic fire sprinkler system on the ground, Council Offices,
second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and mechanical penthouse
floors.
Listed below is an estimate of the total proposed cost.

This project is exempt from environmental review as provided in
Section 15301 of Article 19, Categorical Exemptions, of the
Guideline for Implementation of the California Environmental
Quality Act.
