Inasmuch as the anticipated revenues would be derived from
housing bonds, some members of the Common Council feel at
least fifty percent (50%) of the revenues should be used for
housing and related activities. Prior to the approval of
staff and Miller and Schroeder to proceed with this endeavor,
a policy decision should be made regarding the use of the
anticipated revenues and the allocation of said funds for the
approved uses and related activities.
This item was placed on the supplemental agenda at the
request of Councilwoman Pope-Ludlam. Additionally, pertinent
information received from Miller and Schroeder Financial,
Inc., was not received in time for this matter to be placed
on the regular agenda of the Mayor and Common Council.
I recommend adoption of the form motion.
