Action
The RDA Conunittee was directed to investigate all avenues to provide monies
to repay the City's General Fund for the painting of the three-level parking
structure at 4th and "E" Streets, and rei>ort back to the Council on January 5,
1987, with a solution to the maintenance of the parking structure as it relates
to funding coming from the Redevelopment Agency.

Synopsis of Previous Council action:
08-18-86 --Redevelopment Agency Funds Allocation approved.
10-20-86 --Resolution No. 86-439 adopted awarding contract to Allen B. Davis,
Painting Contractor, for the low bid price of $61,359.00 for Base
Bid I'A" and Alternate No.Two.
11-17-86 --Change Order No. One approved to authorize the Contractor to scrape,
prime and repaint metal signs on the top level of structure, at a net
increase to the contract price of $1,624.00, from $61,359.00 to
$62,983.00.
Recommended motion:
That the work performed by the Contractor, in accordance with
Specification No. 7092, be approved and accepted; and that
final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien
period.

STAFF REPORT
All work under this contract was satisfactorily completed as of
November 24, 1986.
The contract was awarded to the low bidder for the low bid price
of $61,359.00. Contract Change Order No. One authorized an increase in
contract price to $62,983.00 for the repainting of 28 metal signs on the
top level of the parking structure.
We recommend the work be approved and accepted and final payment
be authorized at the expiration date of the lien period.
