RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING GRANT NOTICE LETTERS AND APPROVING
SCOPE OF CIP PROJECTS: SPLASH PARKS, COMMUNITY CENTER UPGRADES,
IRRIGATION SYSTEM UPGRADES. GRANT FUNDS TOTAL $674,614 FROM THE
2002 RESOURCES BOND ACT (PROPOSITION 40) FOR TWO PROGRAMS: THE
ROBERTI-Z'BERG-HARRIS URBAN OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION PROGRAM
AND THE PER CAPITA GRANT PROGRAM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council hereby accept receipt of the grant
award letters, approve the scope of CIP projects, and authorize the City Manager and staff to
execute the CIP projects outlined in the grant scopes: Splash Parks Projects, Community Center
Upgrades, and Irrigation System Upgrades; a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit
"A" and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length; and
SECTION 2. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to amend the Fiscal
Year 20 10-2011 CIP Park Construction Fund and incorporate award amounts set forth in the
2002 Resources Bond Act (Proposition 40) for two programs: the Roberti-Z'berg-Harris Urban
Open Space and Recreation Program and the Per Capita Grant Program.
