DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF AS THROUGH HIGHWAYS..." AND ESTABLISHING A THREE-WAY STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF MAYFIELD AVENUE AND FIFTY-NINTH STREET. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Rcsolution No. 655, which designatcs certain streets, or portions thereof, as through highways, Section One is amcnded by amcnding Subsection (5.2) FIFTY- NINTH STREET to read as follows: "(5.2) FIFTY-NINTH STREET (A) At its Intersection with Mayfield Avenue (3-Way Stop). SECTION 2: Resolution No. 655, which designatcs certain streets, or portions thereof, as through highways, Section One is amendcd by amending Subsection (9.93) MA YFIELD A VENUE to read as follows: "(9.93) MAYFIELD A VENUE (A) At its intersection with 33'd Street. The vehicle volume entering the intersection from all approaches exceeds 600 units during any hour at an intersection. Less than desirable pedestrian or vehicular conditions not listed above or contained 8-12. in the criteria of the State of California for the installation of Stop signs exist at the intersection (as determined/verified by the City's licensed Traffic Engineer). Good traffic engineering judgment must be exercised before installing stop signs at certain intersections (whether it meets the warrants or not)
