DescriDtlon1 Finance: Council Notes: Agenda Item No. If 'i- 2 '3- '20f () CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Subject: Direct City Manager to Begin Exploring and Implementation of Parking Meters in the Court House Square in the City of San Bernardino. Background: Currently the City of San Bernardino is exploring cost savings and revenue options to close a budget deficit. One option is to implement Parking Meters around the Courthouse to offset the cost of our Parking Enforcement Officers. Recommendation: That the City Manager be directed to conduct a study of the use of Parking Meters around the Judicial Square commonly know as 5th Street to the North, Arrowhead Ave on the West and 3rd Street to the South and to the East on Sierra Way. Approve of the use of Parking Meters in the Judicial Square around the Courthouse.
