STAFF REPORT
All work under the contract was satisfactorily completed as of
12-06-85.
The contract was awarded to 8erry Construction Company for the
low bid price of $1,603,977.00 (including deductive Change Order No. One
in the amount of $181,351.00. Change Orders Two through Seven authorized
a net increase in the contract price of $748.89, from $1,603,977.00 to
$1,604,725.89, which is slso the, actual final contract price.
A copy of the letter from the Architect, dated 11-06-85, is
attached for reference. This letter certifies that all work is 100%
complete.
We concur with the Architect's recommendation that the work be
approved and accepted, and that final payment be authorized at the end of
the lien period.
URGENCY CLAUSE
Since the work has been completed, it is necessary that the project be
approved and accepted as soon as possible, in order that final payment can
be made in a timely manner.

08-05-85 -- Change Order No. Five approved authorizing deletion of various
items of work and to correct problems with the plans, at a net
decrease in the contract price of $2,252.64, from $1,598,734.54
to $1,596,481.90.
09-23-85 -- Change Order No. Six approved authorizing the Contractor to remove
a portion of the 3 decks (incorrectly installed by the concrete
contractor), and install a fiberglass membrane, at a net increase
in the contract price of $6,071.57 from $1,596,481.90 to $1,602,553.47.
11=04-85 -- Change Order No. Seven approved authorizing protection of drywall
work, replacement of accordian door, removal of debris, installation
of access hatch in restrooms and approval of a credit for substitu-
tion of skylight beam, at a net increase in the contract price of
$2,172.42, from $1,602,553,47 to $1,604,725.89.
