STAFF REPORT
BID SPEC: F-85-44
At the request of the Superintendent of Building & Safety
a formal bid was administered for complete demolition of
30 plus buildings, sheds, two houses, garage and trailer
at 1807 W. Highland Avenue. Bids were publicly opened and
declared on December 5, 1985. The following is a summary
of bids received.

The proposal of Warren Duncan Contractor has been
reviewed with Superintendent of Building & Safety who
concurs, that it meets specifications, requirements
and is monetarily fair and equitable. It is therefore
recommended that the bid be accepted and the Purchasing
Agent authorized to issue a purchase order for said
demoli tion.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A BID TO
WARREN DUNCAN CONTRACTOR FOR THE DEMOLITION OF 30 BUILDINGS IN
3 ACCORDANCE WITH BID SPECIFICATION F-85-44.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

6 SECTION 1. Warren Duncan Contractor is the lowest
7 responsible bidder for the Demolition of 30 buildings in
8 accordance with Bid Specification F-85-44 for the total amount of
9 $14,985.00; pursuant to this determination, the Purchasing Agent
10 is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order for
11 said Demolition of 30 buildings to said lowest responsible
12 bidder; such award shall only be effective upon the issuance of a
13 purchase order by the Purchasing Agent; and all other bids
14 therefor are hereby rejected.
