These attorneys were recruited by the County of San Bernardino for the Office of the County Counsel. In order to remain competitive with the local labor market and competition with the County of San Bernardino, the City Attorney's Office must have a career ladder much like the County of San Bernardino. The City Attorney's Office is now in danger of losing another Deputy City Attorney who has received an unsolicited offer for a position at a much higher salary. In order to retain this Deputy City Attorney II, it is necessary now to create the position of Deputy City Attorney III, and place this incumbent on the "B" step of said position. 75-0264 c o 1 RESOLUTION NO. ~ V :) SECTION l.
