Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Council has previously taken action to approve each of the attached General
Plan Amendments. The attached resolutions would formalize those approvals.
Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Council approve the attached resolutions requested by
the City Attorney's Office in order to formally adopt the eleven respective
General Plan Amendments.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE NEGATIVE
DECLARATION AS TO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AND ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 52 TO THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO (GENERAL PLAN LAND USE ELEMENT).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTI ON 1.
Recita 1 s.
(a) The General Plan Land Use Element for the City of San Bernardino
was adopted by the Mayor and Common Council by Resolution No. 7336 on August
17, 1964.
(b) Amendment No. 52 to the General Plan of the City of San Bernardino
was approved by the Planning Commission of the City of San Bernardino on
July 6, 1982, after a legally advertised public hearing.
(c) A negative declaration issued by the Environmental Review
Committee of tli-e-City, complete within an initi al study relating to Amendment
No. 52 and all comments relative thereto have been reviewed and approved by
the Planning Commission and the Ma~~r ~nd Common Council in co~pliance with
the California Environmental Quality Act and local regulations.
(d) The Mayor and Common Council reivewed and considered prop~sed
Amendment No. 52 on July 19, 1982.
(e) The adoption of Amendment No. 52 is deemed in the interest of the
orderly development of the City and is consistent with the goals and objec-
tives of the existing General Plan.
SECTI ON 2.
Negative Declaration.
The Mayor and Common
Council hereby find and declare that the proposed amendment to the General
Plan of the City of San Bernardino will have no significant effect on the
environment, and the negative declaration heretofore adopted by the
Environmental Review Committee as to the effect of this proposed amendment
is hereby ratified, affirmed and adopted.

Amendment.
The Land Use Element of the General Plan
of the City of San Bernardino is amended by changing the irregularly-shaped
parcel of land consisting of approximately 126 acres located approximately
1050 feet north of the Barstow Freeway (1-215) between Cable Canyon Road and
Deercrest Drive and southerly of the community of Devore, as outlined on the
map entitled Exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, from the current undesignated status Low Density Resi-
dential uses (0-3 dwelling units per acre). This amendment is designated as
General Plan Amendment No. 52.

Map Notation.
This resolution and the amendment
effected by it shall be noted on such appropriate maps as have been adopted
and approved by the Mayor and Common Council.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a
