Recommended motion:
That the Director of Public Works of the City of San 8ernardino is
authorized to issue Change Order No. Two to Riverside Construction
Company as follows:
1. The addition to said work of the constr'uction of a precast manhole
and place cover on manhole at station 0+92 as delineated on Sheet 5
of 5 sheets, of Plan No. 6502.

3. Trim 27" R.C.P. inside catch basin and mortar perimeter and rim of
27" R.C.P. and finish inside of catch basin at station 0+69.50 as
delineated on Sheet 2 of 5 sheets on Plan No. 6502.
4. The addition to said work of the construction of a pre-cast manhole
at station 1+96 as delineated on Sheet 5 of 5 sheets on Plan No.
6502.

STAFF REPORT
This office has been made aware of circumstances in the field which
required certain changes in the construction as follows:
1. The addition to said work of the construction of a precast
manhole and place cover on manhole at station 0+92 as
delineated on Sheet 5 of 5 sheets, of Plan No. 6502.
2. The removal of existing stub-out and lay 8 1in. ft. of 27"
R.C.P. at station 0+40 as delineated on Sheet 5 of 5
sheets, of Plan No. 6502.
3. Trim 27" R.C.P. inside catch basin and mortar perimeter
and rim of 27" R.C.P. and finish inside of catch basin at
station 0+69.50 as delineated on Sheet 2 of 5 sheets. on
Plan No. 6502.
4. The addition to said work of the construction of a pre-
cast manhole at station l+96 as delineated on Sheet 5 of 5
sheets on Plan No. 6502.
We recommend that the changes be approved, but in order to implement the
changes in accordance with Section 20447 and 20455 of the Public
Contract Code, the Director of Public Works must be authorized to issue
the Change Order. The increased cost estimate is $5,218.24.
