(635 W. 7th Street, 1111 W. Baseline, 808 No. "F" Street, 667 No. 4 "G" Street, 1331 W. Victoria, 1274 W. Vine, 1512 W. Virginia Street) . 5 BE :1 RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 6 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 7 SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its 8 authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapters 15.04, 9 15.16, and 15.28, and other laws, did lawfully cause public 10 nuisance abatements on the real property described in Exhibit 11 "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by refeJ"nce as 12 though fully set forth. The last known owners of record as to 13 each such parcel are also specified in Exhibit "A". 14 Due notice was given to the person or persons having an 15 interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board of 16 Building Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the costs 17 of said abatements on said property. The Board of Building 18 Commissioners has entered its order determining the costs to be 19 reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the land involved. 20 Notice of the right to appeal to the Mayor and Common Council has 21 been issued to all affected property holders. The Board of 22 Building Commissioners now requests that the Mayor and Common 23 Council confirm the imposition of the lien. 24 SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor and 25 Common Council for confirmation of the imposition of the lien 26 imposed, the fcllowing costs are found to have been duly incurred 27 by the City pursuant to proceedings under said provisions of the 28 San Bernardino Municipal Code and the final statements of costs 1 ".*, ,...I 1 on file with the City Clerk are hereby confirmed and adopted as 2 special assessments: 9 The legal description of each parcel is detailed on Exhibit "A". 10 SECTION 3. If said sum is not fully paid to the City Clerk, 11 City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the adoption 12 of this resolvtion as to any such individual parcel, then said 13 sum shall be and become a lien on said property pursuant to said 14 Municipal Code provisions and applicable laws and shall be 15 collected as a special assessment thereon. 16 SECTION 4. In the event said sum is not paid as hereinabove 17 provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified 18 copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San 19 Bernardino, State of California, directing that said sum be 20 entered as lien charges against said property as it appears on 21 the current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time 22 and in the same manner, subject to the same penalties and 23 interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of 24 San Bernardino are collected.
