Synopsis of Previous Council action:
7-20-87 --- Request for installation of a 2-way stop on Pico Avenue,
at Magnolia Avenue, referred to the Mayor's Traffic
Safety Committee for re-consideration, in conjunction
with the residents of the area,
Recommended motion:
That the report from the Mayor's Traffic Safety Advisory
Committee, that the installation of a 2-way stop sign on
Pico Avenue at Magnolia Avenue, is not warranted, be
accepted and filed,

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
On July 20, 1987. the Mayor and Common Council referred
the request for a 2-way stop control on Pico Avenue at Magnolia
Avenue to the Mayor's Traffic Safety Advisory Committee for
re-consideration,
The Committee previously considered the request at their
July 14, 1987 meeting. The area residents were not advised of
this meeting. The residents were invited to attend the September
9, 1987 committee meeting.
None out of 37 area residents responded with any kind of
concerns nor attended the meeting,
The Committee acted to sustain their previous motion, to
leave the intersection of Pico Avenue and Magnolia Avenue as is.
