Synopsis of Previous Council action:
June, 1986 Allocation of $255,000, in 1986/87 Storm Drain Con-
struction Fund Budget, approved.
5-11-87 Limits of project expanded to include installation
of Master Plan Storm Drain at College Avenue.
Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of a storm drain in
University Parkway, from Route 1-215 to a point 1,200
feet to the northeast, in accordance with Plan No. 7329,
be approved; and the Director of Public Works/City
Engineer authorized to advertise for bids.

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the installation of this storm ~rain have been
prepared by the Engineering Division and the project is ready to
be advertised for bids.
The project consists, in general, of installih~ a 75-inth
master plan storm drain, from the present terminus at the south
line of the freeway to the northeasterly property line of the.
Scottish Rites parcel.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:

An amount of $255,000 has been allocated, under Account
No. 248-368-57816, "University Storm Drain," to finance the cost
of this project. It is recommended that the necessary supplemental
funds be allocated, from the unappropriated balance in the Storm
Drain Construction Fund, after the bids are opened and the exact
amount is known.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
