published, and the Superintendent of Streets caused notices of the passage of said
Resolution to be posted, all as provided, by law; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the ?ublic interest and convenience require.
and that the Mayor and CO!llllon Council of the City of San Bernardino do hereby order,

that RIALTO AVENUE HID, in naid City be improved in the manner
described in, and provided by, said iresOlUtion of Intention.

Reference is hereb.'f made to said Resolution of Intention/No. 2380 passed on
the 21st day of
July
,19-23., and approved on the 22ndrlayof
. July ,19~ for a description of said proposed work and im-
provement, and a description of the assessment district therein and thereby declared
to be the district benefited and to be assessed to pay the cost and expense of said
proposed work and improvement.
RES01'./ED, FURTHER, that said proposed work and improvement shall be done under
the direction of the City Engineer, and the materials used therefor shall comply \'dth
the specifications referred,to in said Resolution of Intention, and be to the satis-
faction of the City Engineer.instead of the Superintendent of Streets.
RESOLVED, FUHTHER, that the assessment hereafter to be made in this preceeding,
and the assessment and apportionment of the expenses of all such proposed work and
improvement, shall. be made and signed by the City Engineer instead of the Superin-
tendent of Streets.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the day of ,19, at the
hour of 7130 o'clock P.M., be fixed as the time for opening bids and proposals for
the doing of said work and the making of said improvement, and that the City Clerk
give notice inviting sealed bids and proposals therefor, as provided by law.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was passed by the Mayor and
