An amount of $120,000 has been allocated, under Account No. 121-544-
57595, from CDBG Funds. The 1986-87 Budget includes an amount of $406,270,
under Account No. 243-363-57528 in the Park Construction Fee Fund, for improve-
ments to Patton Park north of Pacific Street. A portion of these funds could
be transferred to help finance improvement of the area south of Pacific Street.
It is recommended that a decision as to which alternates will be included in
the contract award be made after bids are opened, and sufficient funds trans-
ferred to cover the total estimated project cost.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted
to advertise for bids.
