Honorable Mayor and Common Council
Ci ty Hall
300 North "0" Street
San Bernardino, CA 92418
Dear Mayor and Council:
I am requesting that the City Council reconsider the action taken
on the sewer service for Bryn Mawr. Please place this item on the
agenda of July 6, 1987. I will be available to speak.
My contention is that the residents and taxpayers of Bryn Mawr
fall within the service area of the regional sewer plant located in
the City of San Bernardino and are morally and legally entitled access
to the regional sewage treatment facilities.
I feel that all of the facts pertaining to the obligation,
responsibility and concept of the sewage capacity rights were not made
available to the Council. Thus, the wrong action was taken at the
Council Meeting of June 15. The proper action would have allowed the
San Bernardino Board of Supervisors to immediately proceed with the
Bryn Mawr sewer project. Further delays of the project will definitely
erode the federal monies now available, through inflation, for the
sewage disposal facilities of the Bryn Mawr community.
I am sure that if all of the facts are available to the City
Council, a favorable and deserved action will be taken at your
July 6, 1987 meeting.
Sincerely,
~~Jdez
