Council Member Reilly made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Flores and unanimously carried, that said
resolution be adopted.
Resolution No. 87-206 was adopted by the following

READING AND WAIVING OF ORDINANCES ON THE AGENDA
City Clerk Clark read the titles of the ordinances on
the Council Agenda.
Council Member Pope-Ludlam made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Estrada and unanimously carried, that fur-
ther reading of the ordinances be waived.
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
PROVIDING ZONING DESIGNATION C-M, COMMER-
CIAL MANUFACTURING DISTRICT, FOR CERTAIN
DESCRIBED PROPERTY (PREZONE 86-11, BOUNDED
ON THE EAST BY TIPPECANOE AVENUE, ON THE
SOUTH BY THE 1-10 FREEWAY, ON THE WEST BY
ORCHARD DRIVE AND ON THE NORTH BY THE
EXISTING CITY LIMIT BOUNDARY), AND ADOPT-
ING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR ENVIRON-
MENTAL REVIEW. (34)
City Attorney Penman stated that the proposed zone
change is under the Phase 3 Extension from the Office of
Planning and Research and, therefore, is under court
order.
City Clerk Clark answered questions regarding time
limits between first and final readings of ordinances.
City Attorney Penman stated that there is a minimum
time limit between first and final readings of ordinances,
but that it is unclear if there is a maximum time limit
regulation.
Council Member Reilly made a motion, seconded by
Council Member Flores and unanimously carried, that the
ordinance be continued to the July 6, 1987, meeting of the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino,
because this ordinance is subject to Phase 3 of the OPR
extension, and for clarification.

THE MAYOR AND COM~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN EERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Prezoninq of Certain Territory.
The following described property, bounded on the east by
Tippecanoe Avenue, on the south by the 1-10 freeway, on the west
by Orchard Drive and on the north by the existing City limit
boundary, is declared to be in the C-M, Commercial ~anufacturing
District, effective on the effective date of annexation of the
property to the City of San Bernardino.
The land herein referred to as being annexed to the
City of San Bernardino is more particularly described
as follows, to wit:
All of Tract 2743 as per plat recorded in Book 38
of Maps, page 47 records of the county Recorder
of San Bernardino County, State of California
and that portion of Lot 5, Block 72 Rancho San
Bernardino recorded in Book 7 of Maps, page 2
records of said County together with the adjoining
streets described as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of 'i:.he
Northwesterly right-of-way line for 1-10 (Redlands)
Freeway and the center line of Tippecanoe Avenue,
said point being also Point "A"; thence Course "A"
Southwesterly along said Northeasterly prolongation
and said Northwest right-of-way line a distance of
1400 feet, more or less, to an angle point on the
City Limit Line for the City of San Bernardino, said
point being the True Point of Beginning; thence
North along said City Limit Lin~ 1100 feet, more
or less, to an angle point in said City Limit Line;
thence East along said City Limit Line 1375 feet,
more or less, to an angle point in said City Limit
Line said point being also the center line of said
Tippecanoe Avenue, thence leaving said City Limit
