STAFF REPORT
The proposed Senior Center will provide a place for seniors
to gather in a safe and secure environment to engage in
activities designed to promote their physical, mental and
emotional health. Additionally, a full service kitchen
will be included in this center. Lunch will be prepared in
this kitchen to serve those in attendance, and for delivery
to seniors in their residences.
Construction of this center will significantly improve the
level of health for senior citizens in the community.
Therefore, we recommend that a finding be made that this
center is needed for health and safety reasons.
