1. PARKING TRUCKS ON RESIDENTIAL STREETS - Committee
continued this item to September 12, 1988 to permit time for
the Police Department to present their concerns regarding the
effect the proposal will have on procedures as it applied to
current municipal codes.
2. GENERAL PLAN INTERIM POLICY DOCUMENT DISCUSSION-
The Committee agreed that this item is no longer applicable
as a conduit for reviewing the Interim Policy Document and
recommended the item be removed from the Agenda. However,
the Committee agreed that the Legislative Review Committee
will hear specific items referred to it through the normal
process.
3. PROPOSED NEWSRACK ORDINANCE - The

cil. The Acting City Administrator expressed his concerns
regarding the affect and impact the ordinance amendment will
have on the Building and Safety Department and Code Enforce-
ment Division and will meet with the City Attorney to resolve
these concerns. This item will be placed on the August 15,
1988 Council Agenda for approval.
