STAFF REPORT
1650 NORTH "J" STREET
This property was inspected on February 17, 1987, and found
to be open and vacant. A Correction Notice was sent on
February 23, 1987, with no response from owner.
A second Correction Notice was sent on March 27, 1987. Again
there was no response from owner. The house was in a state
of severe delapidation. Building and Safety scheduled the
case for the July 1, 1988 Board of Building Commissioners
Agenda.
The Board of Building Commissioners adopted a resolution to
rehabilitate to current codes or demolish, and to incur all
costs in the form of a lien on the property.
An Appeal was made to the Mayor and Common Council on
July 6, 1988.
Staff recommends that the Mayor and Council uphold the Board
of Building Commissioners resolution to rehabilitate or
demolish; and to incur all current and future costs in the
form of a lien on the property. Current Costs: $501.90.
