2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING SECTION
2.64.050 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO FEES

5 THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
Section 2.64.050 of the San Bernardino

Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The notice of appeal shall be in writing and
shall set forth (a) the specific action appealed
from, (b) the specific grounds of appeal, and (c) the
relief or action sought from the Common Council. The
notice of appeal shall be accompanied by a non-
refundable appeal fee of Seventy-five Dollars
($75.00). In the event any notice of appeal fails to
set forth any information required by this section or
to include the specified appeal fee, the City Clerk
shall return the same to the appellant with a
statement of the respects in which it is deficient,
and the appellant shall thereafter be allowed five
days in which to perfect and refile his or her notice
of appeal."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San

STAFF REPORT
The Legislative Review Committee directed that an ordinance
be presented to the Council which would impose an appeal fee of
$75.00 on appeals submitted to the Council pursuant to chapter
2.64 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code in order to recover a
portion of the cost of processing the appeal.
The proposed ordinance would ,require that the fee of $75.00
be included with the appeal. In its absence the Clerk could not
further process the appeal.
