to remove trees, install two handicap ramps, delete 608
feet of 5-foot chain link fence, and add 608 feet of
temporary cha,in link fence, at a net increase in the
contract price of $811.62, from $231,966.06 to

Recommended motion:
That the work performed by the Contractor, in accordance with SpeCifi-
cation No. 6767, be approved and accepted; and that final payment be
authorized at the expiration of the lien period.

STAFF REPORT
All work under this contract, was satisfactorily completed as of
October 16, 1986.
The contract was awarded to the second low bidder for the bid
price of $231,966.06. Contract Change Order No. One authorized
an increase in contract price to $23~,777.68 for additional
ramps and fencing. The actual final contract price is
$234,962.93 due to an increase in the estimated amount of
concrete curb and gutter and asphalt, and a decrease in the
estimated amount of concrete sidewalk. All work was performed
at contract unit prices for the above listed items.
We recommend the work be approved and 'accepted, and fi na 1
payment be authorized at the expiratjon date of the lien
period.
