RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO RELATING TO REVIEW OF PLANS FOR SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS WITHIN THE FOOTHILL AREA. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON :OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Recitals. 1. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San 7 Bernardino have heretofore adopted an Ordinance requiring a review of plans for single-family dwellings within the foothill area. 2. Said Ordinance provided that design standards shall be promulgated for preservation of mountain valley views in the foothill area. SECTION 2. Desian Standards. 14 Development plans for single-family dwellings in the 15 foothill area shall provide the following: 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 1. The maximum retention of sun and light exposure, views, vistas, and privacy. 2. The preservation of existing views and scenic vistas from unnecessary encroachments by structures and appurtenances.
