Feldheym Central Library was included in the contract documents as Schedule X. The low bid was sub- mitted by Gibson Brothers Janitorial Services in the amount of $47,928,00. An amount of $ 91,857,00 is included in the 1986-87 Budget, under Account No. 105-471-53115, for providing custodial services for the Central and 3 branch libraries. Of this amount, $75,7B9 is designated for the Centra 1 Li brary. Monitoring the contractor's operations, to insure compliance with the specifications, will be the responsibility of the facility manager. A con- ference will be held with the Contractor and facility manager before work is started to review requirements of the specifications and responsibilities of the fac il ity manager. The Agreement has been revised by the City Attorney's Office to incorporate the revisions approved at the Council Meeting of 9-22-86, 75-0264 o o o o , 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A CONTRACT 3 TO GIBSON BROTHERS JANITORIAL SERVICE, INC. FOR PROVIDING CUSTODIAL SERV ICES FOR THE NORMAN F. FELDHEYM CENTRAL LIBRARY. 4 8E IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 5 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 6 SECTION 1. Gibson Brothers Jani torial Service, Inc. is the 7 lowest responsible bidder for providing custodial services for the 8 Norman F. Feldheym Central Library, in accordance with Schedule X 9 of Plan No. 7021, for the total amount of $47,928.00, 10 a~d a contract is awarded to said bidder accordingly, but such 11 award shall be effective only upon the contract being fully exe- 12 cuted by the parties; all other bids therefor are hereby rejected; 13 and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said 14 contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the contract is attached 15 hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and fncorporated herein by reference 16 as fully as though set forth at length. 17 SECTION 2. This contract and any amendments or modifica- 18 tions thereto shall not take effect or become operative until 19 fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be 20 obl igated hereunder until the time of such full execution.
