Colima Road.

STAFF REPORT
The parcel was originally constructed, by the developers of the
subdivision, as a recreation center which included a swimming
pool. SUbsequently, the land was sold for delinquent taxes to
the City of San Bernardino for the amount of $4,079.43. The
City filled the swimming pool with sand, and the site was used
as a meeting center and small neighborhood park.
Within the last few years, the use has dwindled, and the
maintenance cost has risen t~ a point where it is no longer
feasible to operate this facility.
A request was received by William Evans to sell this parcel
which consists of two lots totaling 14,520 square feet.

Section 404 of the City Charter states that any real property
that has a val ue exceeding $2000.00 must go to bid. There has
been a procedure established for the sale of real property,
therefore, we recommend that the motion be approved, and the
funds acquired from the sale be deposited to the General Fund.
