1. PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT RELATING TO PAVEMENT OF
IMPOUND YARDS The Committee recommended acceptance of the
ordinance as amended. Line 12 was changed to read -yards for
storage of impounded vehicles, shall be-. Deleted from that
line was -the parking and-.
2. EXISTING NONCONFORMING AUTOMOBILE IMPOUND YARD-
Councilman Reilly abstained on this item for possible con-
flict of interest. Item continued to allow City Attorney to
speak with Attorney Elvin Meek.
3. ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS CONCERNING BOARDS AND COMMIS-
SIONS - Committee recommended acceptance of the Ordinance
with the following changes: Lines 21 to 25 - delete from
-The Mayor and- ... to -and-. The final sentence on page
one should read, -The Mayor or nominating Council member may
nominate a candidate to replace any member of a board, bureau
or commission-.
4. PROPOSED INCREASE OF DEPOSIT FOR NEW REFUSE ACCOUNTS
- Committee recommended approval with the following addition:
-Deposit shall be credited to their account with no interest
after two years of faithful performance.-
