accordance with Plan No. 6769, be approved; and the Director of Public Works/
City Engineer authorized to advertise for bids.

Plans for construction of a 48" storm drain, from Sierra Way and Fourth Street to
Fifth Street and Sepulveda Avenue, have been prepared by the Engineering Division
and the project is ready to be advertised for bids.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost.

An amount of'$7,125 has been allocated under Account No. 48-490-673. Supplemental
funds in the amount of $278;075 have been proposed in the 1985-86_budget, wbich
will .provide a total amount of $285,200.
We recommend the plans be approved and authorization grantedt~advertise
for bids. . . I
URGENCY CLAUSE: It is vital that this project be constructed
during the dry season while the water table is
at the. lowest elevation.
