Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Each fiscal year the Mayor and Council have extended an agreement
with Dr. Floyd Williams, City Consulting Geologist, to review
geological and liquefaction reports and development projects, as
required by the Alquist-Priolo Geologic Hazard Act. Previously
approved amendments extending the contract were Resolution No.
82-292, Resolution No. 83-141 and Resolution No. 84-261.
Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Council adopt a resolution authorizing the
execution of an amendment to the agreement with Floyd J. Williams,
to extend the term of the agreement relating to evaluation of
geological reports and liquefaction reports for an additional one
year period.

FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH FLOYD J. WILLIAMf
TERM OF THE AGREEMENT RELATING TO EVALUATION OF

FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
(Evaluation of Geologic Reports)
THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into effective
July 1, 1985, between the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a municipal
corporation, referred to as "City", and FLOYD J. WILLIAMS,
California Registered Geologist No. 2143, referred to as
"Consultant".
City and Consultant agree as follows:
1. Recitals.
(a) City and Consultant entered into an agreement on
July 10, 1981, a First Amendment to Agreement on July 13, 1982, a
Second Amendment to Agreement on June 6, 1983, and a Third
Amendment to Agreement on July 24, 1984 (collectively Wthe
agreement"), relating to evaluation of geologic reports and
liquefaction reports.
(b) The parties now desire to amend the agreement to
provide for a one year extension of its term.
2. Term. The term of the agreement is extended for an
additional period of one year commencing July 1, 1985, and
terminating June 30, 1986,
3. Other Provisions. All other terms, conditions and
covenants of the agreement, as amended, shall remain the same and
be in full force and effect.
