STAFF REPORT
San Bernardino Community Hospital has undertaken a major expansion project in the
Northwest Redevelopment Project Area in order to construct a professional office
complex under the expansion program. The community hospital has requested
assistance from Redevelopment Agency to purchase the Orangewood Park site from the
City Parks and Recreation Department and sell the site to Community Hospital. In
order to comply with Civil Code section 33433, a Public Hearing must be conducted
for the sale.
The Public Hearing was been set for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 1986 and
continued to August 4, 1986. Community Hospital has asked that the Public Hearing
be continued to September I, 1986. They had some concerns over the draft DDA and
have asked that they be given this additional time to discuss these issues with
staff and Agency Counsel.
Attached, for your reference, is a summary of the Agreement as presently perceived.
