STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division received a petition signed by the majority
of the store/property owners on the East side of "E" Street between
14th Street and Magnolia Avenue requesting the existing two hour
parking limitation on both sides of "E" Street be removed. The
request was initiated to alleviate parking restrictions experienced
by their customers.
Subsequent to an Engineering staff investigation, we found only one
store/property owner on the West side of "E" Street had signed the
petition. The matter was reviewed by the Traffic Safety Committee
at their meeting on January 16, 1985. The Committee recommends the
existing 2 hour parking limitation be removed from the East side
only of "E" Street between 14th Street and Magnolia Avenue.

STAFF REPORT
The Engineering Division ~eceived a request from Ramsey
McCue Imported Motor Cars to establish "I-Hour Limited Time
Parking", on the North side of Red1ands Blvd., in front of
their showroom for approximately 300 feet in distance.
The area fronting their property is pr1sently zoned "No
Parking Tow Away Between The Hours Of ,2 a.m. to 6 a.m."
Redlands Blvd. in the vicinity has recen~ly been zoned "No
Parking Any Time" due to increasing problelm with the inter-
state trucks. The proposed 1 hour parki!ng will be posted
for the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.mt any day except
Sunday to prevent interstate trucks from, parking in front
of the dealership during their business hpurs.
I
The Engineering Division in their review finds that the 1
hour parking will not create any adversel traff1.c circula-
tion impacts on Red1ands Blvd. and th1e Traffic Safety
Committee subsequently adopted the Engi~eering Division's
recommendation to estab1 ish 1 hour par~ing on the North
side of Red1ands Blvd. between a point 600 feet East and
900 feet East of Hunts Lane applicable :on1y between the
hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
