The request was initiated to alleviate parking restrictions experienced by their customers. Subsequent to an Engineering staff investigation, we found only one store/property owner on the West side of "E" Street had signed the petition. The matter was reviewed by the Traffic Safety Committee at their meeting on January 16, 1985. The Committee recommends the existing 2 hour parking limitation be removed from the East side only of "E" Street between 14th Street and Magnolia Avenue. 2 75-0264 ~ I ' . Ct,), OF SAN BI!RNARDQo - RI!QUEOr FOR COUNCIL ACTON STAFF REPORT The Engineering Division ~eceived a request from Ramsey McCue Imported Motor Cars to establish "I-Hour Limited Time Parking", on the North side of Red1ands Blvd., in front of their showroom for approximately 300 feet in distance. The area fronting their property is pr1sently zoned "No Parking Tow Away Between The Hours Of ,2 a.m. to 6 a.m." Redlands Blvd. in the vicinity has recen~ly been zoned "No Parking Any Time" due to increasing problelm with the inter- state trucks. The proposed 1 hour parki!ng will be posted for the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.mt any day except Sunday to prevent interstate trucks from, parking in front of the dealership during their business hpurs. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8234 ENTITLED IN PART -A RESOLUTION . . . ESTABLISHING PARKING ~IME LIMITATIONS UPON CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS OR ALLEYS, OR PORTIONS THEREOF. . .-, REMOVING THE 2-HOUR PARKING LIMITATION ON THE EAST SIDE OF -E- STREET BETWEEN 14TH STREET AND MAGNOLIA AVENUE, AND ESTABLISHING A I-HOUR PARKING LIMITATION ON THE NORTH SIDE OF REDLANDS BOULEVARD IN FRONT OF RAMSEY McCUE IMPORTED MOTOR CARS. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Resolution No. 8234 Section One Subsection (9) Paragraph (b) is hereby amended to read: -(b) Betwen Mill Street and 17th Street, excepting the east side between Second Street and Fourth Street extended, and on the west side between Seventh Street and Eighth Street, and on the east side between 14th Street and Magnolia Avenue.- SECTION 2.
