Campbell, Garces and Janeway, were represented by an Attorney, and Satallante had a Representative with him. Also attending for the city, was the Occupational Health Nurse (R.N.) and Assistant Director of Personnel. In each case reports from two (2), three (3), or four (4), M.D.' s were reviewed and discussed, pertaining to the ability of each to perform assigned duties at the present, or future. Potential assignments of "Light Duty," or alternate assignments in lieu of Disability Retirement, were also discussed. Without exception, the injuries were such that in each case it was the finding of the Committee, that the employee could not perform duties at the present, and in the opinion of Board Certified M.D.'s there was no possibility that they could be expected to do so in the future. It was determined that it was in the best interest of all concerned, that each be placed on Disability Retirement effective February 3, 1985, which is the end of the pay period next after the meeting of the Mayor and Common Council. In the matter of Fire Fighters Campbell, Garces, Janeway and Satallante, we recommend approval of the form motion. 75-0264
