BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SEcn ON 1. Recita 1 s. (a) The General Plan Land Use Element for the City of San Bernardino was adopted by the Mayor and Common Council by Resolution No. 7336 on August 17, 1964. (b) Amendment No. 37 to the General Plan of the City of San Bernardino was approved by the Planning Commission of the City of San Bernardino on November 18, 1980, after a legally advertised public hearing. (c) A negative declaration issued by the Environmental Review Committee of the City, complete within an initial study relating to Amendment No. 37 and all comments relative thereto have been reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission and the Mayor and Common Council in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act and local regulations. (d) The Mayor and Common Council reivewed and considered proposed ~mendment No. 37 on December 8, 1980. (e) The adoption of Amendment No. 37 is deemed in the interest of the orderly development of the City and is consistent with the goals and objec- tives of the existing General Plan. SEcn ON 2. Neqative Declaration. The Mayor and Common Council hereby find and declare that the proposed amendment to the General Plan of the City of San Bernardino will have no significant effect on the environment, and the negative declaration heretofore adopted by the Environmental Review Committee as to the effect of this proposed amendment is hereby rati fi ed, affi rmed and adopted. 1 SEcn ON 3. Amendment. The Land Use Element of the General Plan 2 of the City of San Bernardino is amended by changing the irregularly-shaped parcels of land consisting of approximately 8.0 acres located on the east side of Arden Avenue approximately 500 feet south of Highland Avenue, as outlined on the map entitled Exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, from Public to Medium-High DenSit~ (;i.J.- 'i} Residential uses (15-36 units per acre). This amendment is designated as General Plan Amendment No. 37 3 4 S 6 7 8 9 SEcn ON 4. Map Notati on.
