RESOLUTION NO. ',)_L:J 7 1.,-
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO IMPOSING A LIEN ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority
under City Ordinance ~ 2291
and other laws did lawfully cause a
public nuisance to be abated on Project No.
379 on the 29th day of
October
, 19 70 ,on the real property hereinafter des-
cribed; and
\~REAS, due notice was given to the person or persons having an
interest in said property and a hearing was held to hear protests and to
assess the costs of said abatement on said property on the 11th day of
January
, 19 71
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the hearing is closed and that the costs were
duly incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under said Ordinance and
that the statement of costs submitted by the Street Superintendent is hereby
confirmed and adopted as a special assessment in the SUIII of $ 1,081.22
aga~nst the property known as 948-950 West 8th Street, San Bernardino,
California. OWNER (SEE ATTACHED SHEET)
more particularly described in the statement of costs attached hereto and
incorporated herein, as fully as though set forth at length.
SECTION TWO: That if said SUIII is not fully paid to the City Clerk,
City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the passage of this
Resolution, then said SUIII shall be and become a lien on said property pur-
suant to said Ordinance and applicable laws to be collected as a special
assessment thereon; and
SECTION THREE: That in the event said sum is not paid 'as here-
inabove provided the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certified copies
hereof and copies of the statement of costs adopted herein with the
Recorder and the Auditor of the County of San Bernardino, State of Cali-
fornia, directing that said amount be entered as lien charges against said

property as it apFears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same penalties and

interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San Ber-
nardino are collected.
