2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE '
3 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR REDEVELOPMENT.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I. Findings.
A. Certain property presently owned by the City of San
Bernardino, for the Board of Water Commissioners, was purchased
with funds of the Board of Water Commissioners, but is no longer
needed for Water Board purposes. However, such property is still
needed for redevelopment, and the City desires to transfer such
property to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San
Bernardino to accomplish such redevelopment. The property to be
conveyed for that purpose is described as property located in the
City of San Bernardino, County of San Bernardino, and State of
California described as follows: Those portions of Lot 2, Block
2, and of Lot 1, Block 3, of the Wiggins Tract, per plat recorded
in Book 3 of Maps, Page 74, San Bernardino County Records, lying
southeasterly of the southeasterly line of State College Parkway
(now University parkway), together with that certain vacated
unnamed street lying between Blocks 2 and 3 of said Wiggins
Tract, consisting of approximately 4.67 acres, excluding flood
control right-of-way, for a total price of $l86,800 on terms
approved by the Board of Water Commissioners.
B. In addition, the City owns other property immediately
: adjacent to a fire station located on Kendall Drive, which the

City is willing to sell to the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of San Bernardino for the sum of $39,200.
The City also no
longer needs for municipal purposes, other than redevelopment
purposes, a lOO-foot strip of the right-of-way for University

Parkway. Certain parkway right-of-way is to be conveyed to the
Redevelopment Agency without charge. The Redevelopment Agency
shall insure that the eventual buyer of the property from the
Agency shall undertake all of the City's obligations for care,
maintenance and upkeep of the right-of-way, including its
landscaping. The property to be conveyed for $39,200 is
described as the northerly 0.98 acres of Parcel One, Parcel Map
3339, as recorded in Book 30 of Parcel Maps, Page 2, San
Bernardino County Records. The right-of-way to be conveyed is
described as the southeasterly lOO feet of the 200-foot right-of-
way for State College parkway (now University parkway) lying
between Northpark Boulevard and Kendall Drive, consisting of
approximately 2.3 acres.
SECTION 2. I~lementation.
The City of San Bernardino does hereby authorize the sale of
the parcels described in Section 1 above to the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of San Bernardino for the purchase price
specified therein, and the Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City
of San Bernardino such Grant Deeds in form approved by the City
Attorney as may be necessary to convey such property to the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino. Such
property is conveyed to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
San Bernardino with the expectation that such property will in
turn be conveyed to other parties for redevelopment purposes.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at an rlr.j""rn"" regularmeeting thereof, held on the
