RESOLUTION NO.

2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS ON
CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN
3 BERNAROINO FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its

lauthority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Section 3.68.020 and
Isan Bernardino Municipal Code Chapters 8.18, 8.27, 8.30, 8.33 and
II
115.28 and other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance
labatements on the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated by reference as though fully set forth.

IThe last known owners of record as to each such parcel are also
Ispecified in Exhibit "A".

Due notice was given to the person or persons having an

linterest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board of
IBUilding Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the costs of
ISaid abatements on said property. The Board of Building
I
ICommissioners has entered its order determining the costs to be
II reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the land involved.

8 The legal description of each parcel is detailed on Exhibit "A".

SECTION 3. If said sum is not fully paid to the City Clerk,
10 City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the adoption
11 of this resolution as to any such individual parcel, then said sum
12 shall be and become a lien on said property pursuant to said
13 Municipal Code provisions and applicable laws and shall be
14 collected as a special assessment thereon.

SECTION 4. In the event said sum is not paid as hereinabove
16 provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified
17 copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San
18 Bernardino, State of California, directing that said sum be
19 entered as lien charges against said property as it appears on the
20 current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time and in
21 the same manner, subject to the same penalties and interest upon
22 delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San Bernardino
23 are collected. The City Clerk shall also present for recording
24 appropriate notices of the imposition of these liens with the
25 County Recorder.
